Donations after the flood on 27th November 2025
Donations were and still are received from former visitors of the Friendship Guesthouse and many other people who get knowledge about this tragedy in Ketambe. Ahmad gives a great hug to all of the supporters and thanks you so much.
The donations go to Ahmad and his family to start a new existence and to guides and porters who worked for the Friendship Guesthouse in the last 15 years.
To make the donations transparent for all contributors the following information are given here:
On 5 December 2025 Ahmad handed over the donations received so far to guides and porters, which was 2.064 EUR in total. Please see some photos below or beside.
Until 14 December 2025 the following donations were received:
Via Paypal: 3.269 EUR for guides and porters
Via Paypal: 8.830 EUR for Ahmad and family to start a new live (buy a new property and start with a house for living).
In addition donations were received via Wise, Revolut, Xoom and by money transfer to Ahmad's bank account of about 6.300.000 IDR for guides and porters and about 14.900.000 IDR for Ahmad and family.
